Who will translate my text at CL-Communication?

At CL-Communication, your texts are translated by one of our qualified native speakers and proofread by another native speaker. If you wish, your text can be checked by another one of our proofreaders one more time after that.

What do I have to do in order to have a translation carried out by CL-Communication?

Simply upload the text you wish to have translated via our request form on the home page and follow the instructions. Alternatively, you can also send your text to us via e-mail: contact@cl-com.com. We will then get back to you asap.

What steps have to be taken for a translation project?

Step 1: You send us the document you wish to have translated via e-mail or request form.


Step 2: Your document is analysed after which you receive a binding offer from us per e-mail.


Step 3: After receiving our offer, you confirm the order (preferably by e-mail).


Step 4: Upon receipt of your order confirmation, your document is processed by a native-speaking specialist in the relevant subject area, and then subjected to careful proofreading.


Step 5: The translation is sent to you via e-mail immediately upon completion.

How quickly is my text translated at CL-Communication?

How quickly your translation can be carried out depends on the following factors:


- Length of text

- Difficulty

- Availability of the translator assigned to your project


A rule of thumb says that an experienced translator can translate up to approx. 20,000 characters per day. CL-Communication generally starts translations immediately upon placement of order. However, since not all translators are available at all times, the begin of a translation job can be delayed slightly. In addition, the proofreading at the end of the assignment also requires a certain time.

Does CL-Communication have a minimum order value?

Yes, our minimum order value is € 49.00

What happens to our company data?

Your company data, which are needed for a smooth order processing, are handled by CL Communications in strictest confidence and not passed on to third parties (for more information, see our terms and conditions).

Who guarantees for the security of sensitive data contained in translation projects?

All our translators have agreed to our confidentiality clause. Upon request, all texts can be deleted from our servers after their translation.

What do I do if the request form does not recognize my text?

If you ever encounter technical problems when trying to upload your files, please send us an e-mail to: support@cl-com.com. We will contact you as soon as possible and solve the problem.

Who or what is CL-Communication? How does the CL-Communication translation service work?

Payment for translations and proofreading is on account only. We reserve the right to demand a 50% advance payment for orders of over EUR 250.00 from new customers or private individuals
